What if plans are added in property sale contract documents

What if plans are added in property sale contract documentsSometimes plans are added as a part of the contract documents to provide a better explanation of the property. In such instances, the plan is also added to the transfer deed. This article discusses the process when plans are included in the transfer document.

If a contract refers to a plan, the same shall be included in the transfer document as well. Although a buyer cannot ask to include the plan in the transfer, he can most certainly demand it when the contents of the contract document do not adequately describe the property or if the title deed is inadequate without the plan. In circumstances, when the buyer requests for inclusion of a plan even when he is not in a position to demand it, he may do so with the permission of the seller. He shall also have to bear costs of its preparation.
