On 12th January 2007, a client instructed a Phew! Conveyancing solicitor to assist in the purchase of a property located on Kingscote Road, London. The property was bought by the client for £ 295000. The London Borough of Croydon was related to this conveyancing deal.
The conveyancing solicitor examined the office copy entries at the land registry. The property was leasehold and the title absolute which alleviated concerns regarding ownership. It was also made clear that the property was solely occupied by the seller and his immediate family.
There were some additional rights passing along with the property to the client which can be seen in point 4 and point 3 of the property register. Our conveyancing solicitors’ inspection did not reveal any future plans regarding the arrival of new roads or maintenance of the existing roads.
